I am switching from a shared server to a virtual dedicated server and I
uploaded my site to my new server using my new IP address with FrontPage. Is
there anyway I can check the site on the new server before I switch the DNS
to the new server? I want to make sure all the databases and forms are
functioning properly before I start sending people there. I tried just
typing in my Ip address in the address bar, but It brought up a dowload file
prompt.

Ask your new provider if they will link it as a sub through their site
for testing.
