Ris works fine exept the RIS MENU is working in querty
instead of azerty. Does anyone know how I can change this?

I'm not talking about the windows system itself!! just the
ris menu where you can choose the OS etc.

Thx

Even though you can use CIW with multiples langauges (%language%),
Certain language restrictions apply to the CIW; these include not
providing support for the following:

Non-101 key keyboards.
Non OEM fonts.
Multi-Byte Character Set (MBCS)/Unicode character sets.

Fore more info...(most if this article is valid also for Windows 2000)

First of all, thanks for your reply!!!

I've tried what you sugested but it seems that you can
only change the CIW menu language with the %language%
variable NOT the keyboard layout. I'm still typing in
querty instead of azerty By renaming the multilng.osc file
into welcome.osc, the only thing that's changing is an
extra screen where you can select in wich language the
next menu's will appear.
The querty / azerty setting must be set somewhere before
the CIW logon screen because there the (azerty)-users must
type in there password in AZERTY and they are typing
querty!!!

I wanna distribute an English version of Windows to azerty
users who are loging in from an azerty keyboard!!!. I know
how to set the keyboard layout for the OS itself, but
that's not the same setting used by CIW.

How can i solve this problem?
Is this setting located in the startrom.com file?

Thx

I dont think it's possible to change the keyboard layout for the CIW.
The article I send you does not mention that this would be possible.

Hopefully some other fellow in the forum knows for sure...
