Hello,

Im running Vista Ultimate x64 on a 8600gt and samsung 19" monitor. When i
first installed Vista i could choose a higher resolution than 1280x1024. But
then came a message about "optimal settings" and it switched to 1280x1024.
And im no longer able to choose a higher resolution!? Whats up?

Is this an LCD monitor? Is 1280x1024 it's native resolution? If so, then you
should use 1280x1024 to avoid artifacts.
