Changing registration name in Win98 with Office2000

Hello, because of changes to the name of my company my boss told me that we
have 30 days to change the registration name in the properties of Office
2000 in Windows 98 (200 computers).
I do not want to install office in each computer, so searching in the
registry i notice that if i change the name in
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\officeguid
and then I go to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\Word\ and delete the
Data key, Word regenerate it with all the changes, but the problem is that
some computers start to fail with an error with MSO9.dll.
I do not know where the inconsistency exists.
