Buy either of the pairs from Crucial and replace both your existing ram
sticks
(ie 1 pair will give you a total of 512mb the other will give you 1gb)
Mixing ram sticks can cause problems
And have you checked that the rest of your hardware supports, has drivers
for, WinXp, eg motherboard chipset, video card etc, also any peripherals eg
Printers, scanners etc
