When I run my presentation the background color is black. Is there any
way to change it to white? I don't mean the slide or master slide
background color but the actual background color of the presentation
that the slides appear on.

Thanks in advance.

Can you clarify what you mean please? The background colour of my
presentations is whatever I set the master slide background colour to. You
presumably mean something else?

OK let me see if I can clarify what I mean. Let's say my presentation
is finished. I hit F5 to watch the show. The slides appear on a black
back ground. I would prefer white. Is there any way to change the page
color that the slide show appears on. I am not referencing the slide
color at all.

Hope that is a little clearer.

Are you talking about the black border that appears around the slide
itself to fill the monitor? If so, I do not believe this can be changed

Yes, I am. I didn't think so but I don't use Power Point much so I
thought I would ask. Thank you for the answer.

But, in case it helps, you don't need to have a border at all. If you go to
File, Page Setup... you can adjust the slide size (and hence aspect ratio)
to whatever fills your screen completely.

Then if you really wanted, say, a purple border, you could create a master
slide with a purple edge etc.

V

NB Will obviously need adjustment if you subsequently want to show the
slides on another screen with a different aspect ratio!
