But, in case it helps, you don't need to have a border at all. If you go to
File, Page Setup... you can adjust the slide size (and hence aspect ratio)
to whatever fills your screen completely.
Then if you really wanted, say, a purple border, you could create a master
slide with a purple edge etc.

NB Will obviously need adjustment if you subsequently want to show the
slides on another screen with a different aspect ratio!
