Changing "plain text" font

I use Outlook 2003 with Word 2003 as my email editor. I have my plain
text font set to use Lucida Console based on the setting "When
composing and reading Plain Text messages" (Tools | Options| Mail
Format| Fonts). So each new plain text message displays correctly in
that font. However if I reply to or forward a plain text message, the
font displays as Courier instaed of Lucida and I'm not sure how to
change/control that.

By the way, if I switch the view while composing from the "standard"
Normal view to Print Layout, the message then displays correctly in
Lucida. Thanks for any help in resolving this dilemna.
