I was wondering if it is "easy" to make a "rotating
picture box". Ex. On the home page, I would like to
have a picture, but every time the visitor goes to the
webpage it is different. Is this hard?

If it is hard depends on how familiar you are with JavaScript.

To load a random image each time the page is open would require a server side script.
If you are hosted on an Apache/UNIX server with a web masters CPanel ( control panel ) check the cgi
scripts section.
"Most" contain a script to do just what you want.
