Changing the path of uploaded pics from my computer

I upload pics and images from my computer by import method to images folder
and when I insert pics from the insert button, it goes to file and lists all
of my pics. I then click on the pic chosen and insert into web page and
check the html language and of course it is showing file//A: which is where
the pics came from originally. However when I publish the pics do not show
on the web, they are blank because they continue to point to my computer. I
am being told to change the path of the images and I just do not know how to
do that. Help

Do you actually have a web created and open before importing?

When you go to the insert button, are you actually finding the images folder
in your open web site?

I must have a web because it can be seen when you put in the name of the
website in the browser. www.thtmassage.com but when I click on Front page
to open web I do not see it there. What I do see is derive, private, images
and photos. The cursor is blinking in the Web name box and it is blank.
What do you think?

When I open web button, I see derived, private, images and photos. On the
bottom I see Web name and the cursor is blinking there. The website shows on
the browser but without the pics. www.thtmassage.com. What I have been
doing is open the index.htm and then import the pics to a folder in images
and then insert those images into the page, publish and then the same thing
continues to happen, meaning that the pics are not on the web page when I go
to the browser and each time in HTML view the pics point to A drive origin.

Are you opening your local web on your pc and doing the importing into the
images file before publishing it to your remote web?

I open my front page program, I click on open, I open index.htm I click on
import, import window opens, I click on add file, all pics in photos appear,
I click on one of them and it opens with highlighted area of the pic in
following:

A:\photos\MTtablephoto.jpg
Under URL it says: MTtablephoto.jpg
At this time I click ok, Am I supposed to modify this or just say ok?

The "Web" referred to here is the "frontpage web" (a Frontpage term) which
is the collection of all the files - HTML, images, scripts etc.

From the Frontpage application, you open the web first by File > Open >
Web

Open FP
File | Open Web SITE
select your Images folder in Folder List
File | Import
browse to your images that exist outside of FP web
import them into your website - usually into your Images folder but it can
be anywhere really.
then place them into your layout from there.

Save and re-publish your website.

BTW..your Images folder online is browsable you may not want that.
