I have a new XP Pro notebook that I have set up and I am giving my old XP
notebook to my wife.

I know how to migrate Outlook files from her old PC to the notebook computer
but I would really like the old notebook to be set up as if my wife is the
only user on the notebook. I thought that I could just rename the User
Account but that is not what I am after.

I HOPE I don't have to reinstall the OS to reach my objective as I have a
lot of programs on the old notebook that my wife will also use.

Any guidance out there?

Control Panel ( Classic View ) Users, Create new user. Log in to that
account and once setup revisit Users to remove your original profile.
*Be sure to save the personal data , all other settings will be defaulted
to the original settings.
