Right-click My Computer > Manage > Local Users and Groups > Users, right-click Administrator > Rename. |

Glad you got your answer. Just remeber not to try this on a win 2003 server
machine. Once you change the name of the administrator in 2003 you can no longer access that account (unless you have another administrative account you can log onto to change the name back to Administrator). -- Tom Zucker-Scharff Systems Administrator "Andee39" wrote: > That did the trick.
