Hello,

Does anyone know a way within XL to change multiple data fields (ex.
from sum to count) at the same time? If not, could someone please help
me start to develop a macro to do so?

Thank you in advance!

Select the cells where you want a change then try Edit>Replace

What: count

With: sum

Replace all

Hi Gord,

I don't think I explained my request that well. I am trying to change
multiple pivot table data fields at one time. I tried the replace you
mentioned and recieved a message stating that XL couln't find any data
to replace.

Any thoughts?

ooops!

Sorry Wesley...........What I know about PivotTables would make a very
tiny footnote in a book on growing Chrystanthemums.

Hang in.......someone will come to your aid.

Debra Dalgleish has some very nice notes about pivottables at her site:
http://www.contextures.com/
http://www.contextures.com/tiptech.html

She has an addin that can change Count's to Sum's:
http://www.contextures.com/xlPivotAddIn.html
