Changing meeting occurrence causepast data to be lost

I have a meeting that runs the third Monday of every
month. Not a big deal; I can figure outhow to do that.
But, after 3 months of meetings, the schedule has
changed. I now want the meeting to occur the second
Monday of every month. How can I do this without changing
the previos ocurrences as well? I know that I can stop
the original recurrence on that date and start a new
recurrence, but isn't there a way to just change the
existing one instead? If not, someone should give that to
MS as a feature request.
