In word 2003 the ruler is displaying in ch measurments. The Tools Options is
set to cms. Have tried setting tabs in cm but changes back to ch. Also
showing as ch in paragraph spacing. Have seen this before but can't remember
how I fixed it. Help needed please.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | Measurement units: <choose
your preferred unit of measure> | OK. If Word won't let you change the
setting there, then see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=299339 "You
cannot change ruler measurement unit from character units after upgrade
to Office XP".
