Hi.

The main board crashes,
We changed from Pentium 3 to Pentium 4
When stariting up with the new one, the W2K stops on the change from the
normal monitor to the graphical one.

With the info on

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;824125

I couldn't solve the problem.

Any idea how to arrange that?

There can be many reasons for the crash, such as loose components on the
Motherboard (typically memory modules, PCI adapters) or even loose cables.
Just ensure that everything is fully seated and connected.

Try swaping back the CPU from the P4 back to the PIII.

Also if you have added any addtional cards ensure that they are on the
Microsoft Hadrware compatibility list.

Thanks,

Seetal

The reason is of the crash is a component of the motherboard (I do not
know the name in english).

Everything is on the same place; :-)

Different motherboard
Ethernet Card now on the motherboard
sound card now on the motherboard

The only diference.

When it craches, I get other computer similar, and I change the Hard
Disk, and in 5 minutes I solve the SQL Server problem, and people only
have to stop working for 10 minutes.

Now I want to reverse the system, but I can't because W2K cannot startup

Greetings --

Normally, unless the new motherboard is virtually identical to the
old one (same chipset, IDE controllers, etc), you'll most likely need
to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation, at the
very least (and don't forget to reinstall any service packs and
subsequent hot fixes):
