I have a web site format that i am happy with but I wanted to add a few pages
to show pictures of my new granddaughter and the same web site format shows
up or the new page alters all the pages on my existing site. can I have both
and how?

If you are hosted on a live/remote server that has the FP extensions, then you can create a
subweb/subsite.
