What are some different ways to change the local admin password on a windows
XP system?

1. Ctrl-Alt-Del > Change Password
2. Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Local Users
and Groups > Users > Right-mouse click on account > Set Password.
Read the warning and proceed only if you are absolutely sure.
3. at a command-prompt:
net user user_name *
