Changing links when creating sub-root folder

I want to place the copy of my web site content into a subfolder in my web
root directory. Is there a way to change the hyperlinks within the subfolder
so that they reference the image, css, etc. folders that are in the subfolder
as well? Right now the links go back to the main root directory folders. I
know I change these manually so that they point to the actual reference in
the subfolder, but I'm hoping I won't have to manually do this for every
single link in the subfolder.

I'm setting up the subfolder so that I can make changes to pages without
affecting the current site until I'm ready for these changes to go into
effect.

If you convert the subfolder into a subweb / subsite, and then publish the site to the subweb, FP
will correct and maintain the link structure.

Thank you so much! That worked. The only thing I noticed is that my
navigation bar is broken. Do you have any ideas on how I can fix this?

The site is: http://www.jackbkeenan.com

The subweb site with the broken nagivation bar is:
http://www.jackbkeenan.com/devsite

You have to check the script that is managing your navigation structure.
