I wuld like to know how to change my imap account to a pop account. I have
verizon for my provider. I used to have a pop account and somehow i changed
it to an imap account and i hate it. I want to go back to a pop account.
Help!!

You'll have to add the account again but this time choose to use a POP3
account. Once added, you can remove the IMAP account.
Use Tools-> Account Settings for this.
Ask your ISP if you do not know the required server details and/or
credentials.

You can't change the account type - you have to create a new account.
Create the POP account. Move any emails you have stored in IMAP folders
other than the Inbox to local folders in your Personal Folders File, then
remove the IMAP account.
