Hi there,
I recently have been using IE on my PC and was using a service provider
named Wanadoo. The title bar of my internet explorer says Internet Explorer
provided by Wanadoo (the blue bar at the top). I'm not longer using them now
and wondered if there's a way of changing it easily to my new provider. Also,
I am continually getting popups as my last service provider allowed this. I
have a popup blocker that doesn't get rid of them. Is there a way of blanking
IE and having it nice and fresh. My new service provider doesn't use popups
and I just want a nice fresh new start on this PC. Thanks in advance.

Hi Tracy :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, you can try the
following and see if it helps:

Clearing the TIF Cache -
Safely Delete the Temporary Internet Files
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
Delete Off-Line files as well

or.

How to Delete the Contents of the Temporary Internet Files Folder
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;260897
Delete view off-line files not the pages File, Save as.

also..

Set the IE popup blocker (XP):
Open IE and go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy
Check the box next to Block pop-ups near the bottom

Download, install and run this program to clean your cache which will remove
old history files.
CCleaner
http://www.ccleaner.com/
or
http://www.download.com/CCleaner/300...-10315544.html

and..

Reset your IE toolbars back to default:

How to reset IE Toolbar Menu
http://toolbar.google.com/fixmenu
or
To restore Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer Toolbar & Address Bar
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
Line 3 - Left Side

or...

ToolbarCop
http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadge...9524f2094d2b64
You can use this utility to remove unwanted toolbars.

Hope this helps.

Be sure to uninstall any software from your previous service provider.
