Changing Headset settings

I have just got a headsrt which is virtual 7.1 surround usb. But it is only
bieng recognised as speakers, and i cant find any way to change it to a
headset. Anybody help, ive had so many problems with soundo n vista already.

DaLonelyBaptst,

Not knowing what sound device or drivers you have, I can only say that most
of the causes of sound cards not properly working is because of drivers.
Either the driver is incompatible or missing from the system. In these cases,
checking the manufacturer's website for the latest drivers can solve your
issue. The Windows Update site also regularly pushes out updated drivers for
various devices. This may or may not be helpful to you, but it's the best I
can do at this time.

Ill look for some drivers for my sound card now, too bad ive thrown the box
for it away... :P
