Changing font size in themes

I am using the FP2003 Journal theme, and I want to change the size of the
various theme fonts. I see where I can change the fonts for the various
tags, but not the sizes. I am probably missing something very basic here --

Thanks
Marc

Assuming you have displayed the "Modify Theme" dialog box, click the "More
Text Styles..." button. In the "Style" list box, select the tag that
corresponds to the element you want to change (e.g., select "H1" to modify
the font for Heading Level 1), then click the "Modify..." button. In the
next dialog box, click the "Format" button, then select "Font" in the pop-up
menu. Finally, you will get a Font dialog box that allows you to modify any
aspect of the font (font type, size, color, underlining, etc.).

I'm not surprised you couldn't find it -- getting there is pretty obtuse,
even by MS standards!

David Benson
Return address is munged -- replace "invalid" with "l-m-c-o" without the
dashes.

David, I did try that but it did not appear to change the site. I assume the
body tag is for the default text?

Thanks,

Marc,

That's true -- changing the format for the "body" tag changes the format for
the default text. Note that this text should have "Normal" selected in the
Style listbox in the toolbar.

When I tried this on a single-page test web, it took several seconds before
the change showed up in the page I had open. I suspect the FP is going
through all of the files in the web and checking to see if it needs to
change anything. If you have a large web, this could take quite a while.

David,

Thanks for the help. I will try it again this evening when I get home.

Just tried it, the changes are reflected in the character preview window of
the style sheet, but not in the Customize Theme preview window. I know I am
missing something here.

Thanks again

Tried a new site, added modified theme and it works exactly as expected, yet
existing site does not respond to changes.

Thanks

Tables in CSS do not inherit styles consistently
Format Theme Customize Text More Text Styles and add a style for td and th (and caption)

That does not seem to solve the problem, I did contact Microsoft and it
appears to be a bug.
