Changing domains and saving profiles

We are doing a domain change and I'm finding it exteremly tedious to
copy the old user profile over from the old domain folder to the new
domain profile folder as well as setting up network printers and
outlook email profiles all over again. Is there a shortcut to this
madness like a reg key? Thanks for any advice.
