hello,

i am wondering if it is possible, and how, to change the default document
save location from the My Documents folder, to any other location, when
saving documents in Microsoft Notepad and Microsoft Wordpad. i am using
windows xp home edition, and do not use the my documents folder for saving
documents. thank you

okay. that worked, but is there anything that i could accidentally do that
would reset it back to using My Documents, or is the method you described a
permanent thing? --i want it to be a permanent change. thank you.
