Changing default mail client in IE6

I had Lotus Notes (local installation) as a default mail client, now we have
a network installation of LN and cannot choose it as default mail client.
I searched the forum and found some similar problems, most of solutions
involved changing the registry, but I do not know what exactly to change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
