I am planning to move a DC (windows 2003 box) to a different sub-net. Can I
just change the IP address of the server and connect it to the new network?
Is there anything else I need to manually modify -- for DNS record etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

John

What is a DC?
You have not said whether you are using static or dynamic IP addressing.
Do you have a hosts file?
Do your applications have IP addresses in their configuration?
