Changing date of file created/modified

I want to keep the original date (time stamp?) of Outlook
2000 messages when copying them into a Windows folder.
This would help a lot in sorting *.msg files archived in
document folders. Unfortunately Windows puts the date of
copy instead. How can I change the date of *.msg files in
a Windows folder?
Thank you.
