When I roll the mouse pointer over the clock in the system tray, I get a
little yellow popup giving me the month, date and year. How can I configure
it to include the day of the week as well?

Increase the taskbar to 2-line and it should show the time, day, and date
continuously.

You can try TClockX which is not only highly configurable but can also
display the free memory available - a great utility

It displays in my tray:

559mb Sat Jan 17, 2009 20:13

Google for the link, it is available at many freeware sites

HTH

Hope this helps

A typo? I assume that you mean Tclockex.

In my view, TClockex isn't a bad program of that type, but it is often
confused with the program with a similar name, Tclock. In my view
Tclock is significantly better than Tclockex, and since it's free, I
recommend that you give it a try.
