I searched and could not find a solution.
DOes anyone know how you can actually have the Chart Legend reflect
your report/table?


I am using a simple two column table like this to test out graphing
abilities of the cr graphs
year sale
1993 50
1994 50
1995 75
1996 67
1998 95

On the Data tab on the chart expert it will not let me say to show
values for both columns, it simply grayes out year field, and
therefore when the graph comes up, all you see in the legend and on
the pie chart itself is just an autonumber starting at 0, but it does
show the sale #'s?

any ideas?

After you drop your chart into your CR select Type example (Line) then Data
Under Data Select Layout (Advanced)
Select from the ListBox (Available fields) the fields you wish to have in your chart.
Move Year and or Sales into the top box on the right and Sales into the (Show Values) box bottom right or a formula.
Then goto the Axes Tab: Grid Lines Data Axis Major
Data Values Auto range
Number Div auto
