When I put a cd into my DVD/CD drive a screen used to come up saying what do
you want to do with this disk. I always cancelled the screen. Now someone
seems to have clicked always open with Windows Media Player. This is driving
me nuts, if i put a backup disk, a blank disk anything in its starts media
player. How can I stop this. Thanks in advance.

Bob

Open My Computer
Right-click on CD / DVD Drive
Click Auto Play tab
From the Content tab choose the type and then click "Prompt each time to
choose an action"

Hope this help, let us know!

Many thanks that did the trick, it was actually only on the blank disk option
as it turns out.
