Changing Administraive Settings remotely?

I'm real green here so bare with me please......My home desk top is
configured remotely to a couple of laptops.Can Administraive settings on my
desk top be changed remotely ?.Because I woke yesterday and I can' get into
the main loggin because all my setting were change and I don't have the
password..Also if some one is on with me will I know? When I'm on iExplorer
sometime the pages that are on the bottom of the toolbar turn orange from
the origanal car blue,The'll bink for a peiod and then stop,Does this mean
someone is on with me remotley?
