Changing account access to applications

I recently added a password to my logon. That added a "Guest" account to
my logon screen.
I see that some applications that I installed over the years are
available to the guest account.
Can I remove access without having to reinstall the application?

If you mean icons being available to t he guest, this is because the icons
are in the "All Users" desktop or startmenu instead of your own.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\....

Removing the icon doesn't of course prevent guest from running the .exe
directly from its Program Files location. If you have XP Pro you can change
the permissions on the executable to deny execution by Guest. With XP Home
this is still possible but harder, as it has to be done in Safe Mode.

"If you have XP Pro you can change the permissions on the executable to deny execution by Guest". That's my question.
How do I change permission?
Thx for your help.

-------------

Why not just turn the guest account off from User Accounts via control
panel? Having the guest account enabled is a really terrible idea.

I want some visitors to have use of my machine but not my applications
or data. How would you accomplish that?

Guest account will have use applications that you giving they on day you
install that applications. Not your data....they make there on
data...that data you will be able to look at...... Mr. Admit....... But your
data they can not see.......in the Guest account
Next's time you install a application and the application ASK you ( do
like to install this for this User only or All User )
Pick User only: then the guest will have the applications, no will all
user:: but the one that install it.....Mr. Admit......

Are remove access by reinstall the application.... remember Pick User
only......Mr. Admit......
and hope you keep data in doing so...
