Two issues: first, I make changes locally and then publish. The date/time
stamp changes on the remote file so I am pretty sure the file was transferred
ok, BUT the changes don't show up when I look at the website.

Second, I have a Link Bar that show perfectly on my local machine and shows
perfectly when I preview in a browser. But, it doesn't show when I publish
it.

Are these two issues connected? I am debating just deleting everything on
the server and reloading but I am not sure that will help.

Any thoughts???

Thanks,

Bob

Have you done a complete/full publish of the site to the live/remote server?

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

| More information:
|
| From FP I opened the remote site. I opened the page in question Index.htm
| and it showd just fine in design and preview mode. But, when I previewed
in
| a browser my LinkBar did not show. This is bizarre.

I have similar problem. I actually make updates LIVE on the site and when I
go back to browse, the changes do not take, or so it seems. I refresh, clear
cahce, delte temp files, old page keeps showing up.

The interesting thing is, I can go to another machine, and the updates show
up.

On the machine with the problems, I use Firefox and IE, both have the same
problem. It has now been 3 days since updates were made and I still can't see
them on this machine when browsing. The address bar shows that I am pointing
to the site and not somewhere on my local machine. In fact, I deleted all
the local files.

I have this problem with two separate websites hosted by two separate
providers.
