Thanks, I have no problems accessing workgroup resources
on WIN2K machines from an XP machine but I have never been
able to use a WIN2K machine to access an XP machine. I
search for the XP computer and it shows up fine. When I
double click on the icon I get the name

assword prompt
and I enter this. It doesn't accept. Strangely, it puts
the workgroup name in front of the user
name "WORKGROUP\USERNAME" but even if I change this to
different combinations, it won't accept.
BTW, is there any way to recover my laptop before going
back to work? I'm short on political capital at the
moment.
How will they get a non-existing workgroup to allow my
logon now that I no longer have the Domain set up?
Thanks,
Dave
