Hello all,I have Windows2000 and changed the resolution to one step up,1024
by 768,selected Large Fonts under Appearance on the Display Properties
window,restarted,and now I have the icons too big and do not have the Font's
options I had before,no options now,I changed back and tried all the
resolutions available,but my Font Options have disappeared :-(
Any help appreciated,thanks

First, see if the information in the below article is applicable:

Second, The fontext.dll file may be corrupt.

1. Boot into Safe Mode
2. Rename the fontext.dll in the %SystemRoot%\System32 to fontext.old
3. Rename the fontext.dll in the %SystemRoot%\System32\Dllcache to
fontext.old
4. Copy an extracted copy of the fontext.dll file to both folders.
5. Reboot to Normal Mode.
