Go to Format | Font, select 12-point TNR, and click Default... again. You
don't need to hold Ctrl down to underline. Ctrl+U toggles underline on, and
it will stay on until you press Ctrl+U again to toggle it off or
Ctrl+Spacebar to return to the default paragraph font. It's possible that
you somehow pressed Ctrl+[ or Ctrl+<, either of which will reduce the font
size.

> I'd appreciate your help. I changed the font default by mistake and dont
know how to change it back to the original that came with Word 2003. When I
type the 12 font is so small I cant read it! I was underling holding the
Ctrl down all the time while hitting the U to underling and somehow the text
all became smaller and smaller. On office assistant I tried to correct this
and pressed default font thinking I was returning to the original setting.
Obviously I changed the default to the small print! Help! Thanks.
