Hi,

I'm trying to make all of my websites compliant with the Disability
Discrimination Act. Part of the act says that the website visitor must be
able to change the size of the text if they are visually impaired (by
clicking view > text size > larger or largest in IE).

I am unable to change the text size (which is Veranda 8pt) on any of the
websites that I have designed. Does anyone know how I can give the website
visitor the ability to change the text size?

Thanks in advance,

Sonars UK

Do not use pixels or points to specify text sizes. In IE, these
result in fixed sizes, though not in other browsers.
See www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/ems-percent.htm for examples.

If you don't use pixels or points, then how do you specify text size? I've
got text using the "Arial" font and when I bring up the Font dialog in
FP2003, I only see point size as an option to specify the size of the text.

Use ems, exs, ens, percents, or font size names (e.g., small, medium, etc.).

You would have to use CSS to do this, not HTML styles.
