i am giving my notebook running win xp pro to a friend
what is the simplest way to change administrator etc

      8th Aug 2004
Right mouse click on my computer. Click Manage. click on + next to local
users and groups. Select Users. Rihjt click on administrator and set
password. Click on proceed and type in new password and confirm.
PLEASE NOTE:- if you have installed any application which runs as a service
using the administrator account will stop working on next reboot. This usualy
only affects servers thou.
