Ok , so dont use the network ID to setup your workgroup.
Go to the same place
My Computer>properties>networkidentification and use the
properties button on that screen. You will have a radio
button that tells your computer that your either part of a
domain or part of a workgroup and you can fill in the name
for your domain/workgroup. Reboot and your set.
