You will need to use the Outlook message editor to use anything but the Word
template.
However, you can edit the email.dot which is the default form for new mail
messages in Outlook/Word 2003.

After furious head scratching, Henrik asked:
| I use Word as a text editor when I work with Outlook 2003 (Tools /
| Options / Mail Format / Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail
| messages).
|
| I'd however like to automatically use another template than
| normal.dot when I create a new mail message. I've tried to experiment
| with Tools / Templates and Add-Ins / Templates / Attach (Document
| Templates) but I cannot get it to work -- always reverts to
| Normal.dot.
|
| Any thoughts?
|
| Thanks,
| Henrik
