Hi,
I have already posted such a question on win2000 group without much of
an answer ...

Is there a way to override the 1024 char size limit for environment
variable??

(think of %path% or %classpath% : I want to add something very long
and I don't want it to be truncated.)

I am not speaking of the overall amount of memory for all the
environment variable, but of the individual size of any of them.

I tried setx, and mapping drive names to files with long names, but I
ain't very satisfied with that kind of workaround.
