change to uniprocessr HAL

Hi all
I don't know if i am on the right news group here or not but here goes my
question.
I just put togather a new PC . It is - Intel board , D865PERL and CPU intel
P4 2.4C.
Both support 800 FSB .
I ran the AIDA32 program and it tells me , only one CPU installed , you
should change to uniprocessor HAL.
Is this something i can do in windows or is it something else , this is new
to me , never had such a high performance machine before.
Hope someone can help me out here.
