In Otlk 2007, in the E-mail Options, under 'On replies and forwards', and in
the 'Mark my comments with' box...

....is there a way to change the styling of these reply comments? The default
style makes my text bold.

On a side note,
Previously when responding to emails the original message would get indented
and my text would automatically change color. Subsequent emails would
continue this behavior, changing the color of my text and indenting the
previous email, so that it was easy to see each person's inline replies. How
do I set this behavior? The only thing I find now is to indent the previous
email, but my inline text doesn't automatically change font color.

For both questions; it will take the color which you set for your Replies
Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> Stationery and Fonts...
