Hi, I was wondering if someone knows how to change it so that the Email link
at the top of the Start Menu opens Outlook to Outlook Today, not the Inbox.
I asked here a long time before, but I recently installed XP SP2 and it seems
to have reverted and I can't find the old post with instructions.

Thanks for your help~

Hi Mary, thnx for your advice but I've tried that; it opens to Outlook Today
from any other link, its just the Start Menu Email link that does this (it is
specifically set to open to the Inbox). I believe that before I had to
change something in the registry, but I don't know where.

Which shortcuts are opening it to Outlook Today?

All links should use the same setting, unless they are using a startup witch
to override it.

The link on the desktop, the link in the office toolbar, and the Outlook link
in the All Programs menu on the Start menu all open fine to Outlook Today.
Its just the Start Menu "Email" link that is set to open it to Inbox.
