I am designing a database for a group of ladies who are older. Some of them
have 15" screens set at the larges possible resolution, others have more
standard set-ups. I am trying to design a form that is functional, yet will
still fit completely on the screen of the most visually challenged user. Is
there any way to use VBA to change the screen resolution or otherwise change
the visual settings?

Failing that (and I imagine it will) does anyone know of a resource for
compact yet functional form design? I enjoy the art of form design as much
as the science. This should be fun.

You can change screen resolutions, but you should not. People usually have
the resolution set the way they want it. Chaning it changes the resolution
for all of Windows. I for one would not use an app that makes changes to my
personal set up. There are other ways. If the user has XP or Vista, there
are Accessiblity Options that allow for magnification for a person with
limited visual ability.

You really need to find another option.

I agree, go for the 15" screens and develop that size.
