Mine doesn't do that. It must be a function of your video driver.
What is the make and model of your video card.
That said, LCD monitors operate best and produce the clearest and
sharpest image when operated at their native resolution. If that is
too high a resolution you should try configuring it to use the "large
fonts" option (Control Panel - Display - Settings - Advanced) which
may suffice for your needs.
