In Systems Properties under the General tab it says: "Registered to:". I
put in the wrong name during setup. How do I change this. I assume it can
be done in the registry, but where and how. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Change the Computer's Registered Owner in Windows XP
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_change_owner.htm

Microsoft Registration: Start > Run and type: REGWIZ /R ,
and hit enter.

Greetings --

To fix the "Registered to" information for WinNT/2K/XP, you can use
Start > Run > Regedit.exe to edit:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\RegisteredOwner

and:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current
Version\RegisteredOrganization

How this will affect the name displayed in previously installed
applications will vary depending upon each individual program; some
read the registered owner information dynamically, while others read
it only during installation.

The two postings above each show you a way to make this change. I have
only one comment to add.
While RegEdit is a very powerful tool in allowing you to make such
configuration changes, be very careful how you use it, as you can also make
your computer unbootable if you start to get zealous and try deleting things
that you are not sure of. There are many tens of thousands of settings in
the system registry. While many of them are just labels, and are easy to
change, others are absolutely critical for the computer to read at startup,
or when your applications instantiate. If you are not sure in RegEdit, don't
do it.
