Is there a way to change a recurring appointment to single appointments (that
aren't linked to each other)?

I mean is there a way to do this automatically?

That are linked to each other? No. You can, however, copy the recurring item
to a separate calendar folder and export that folder as a csv. Outlook will
ask you for a time span and then export the recurrences as individual items.
You can then delete the recurring item fro the original calendar and import
the csv.

You can either copy and paste the appointment - would need to repeat it for
every occurrence though- or export to excel and import. This will break it
into individual appointments.
