i am helping a friend out and need to retrict their access to some of the
programmes on my machine, is there any way i can change the programme
permisions without re-installing them. some of the software will include
games and programming programmes.

also while we are here does anybody know the best way to restrict access to
given website as a child will be using the user area.

thats good for the folders but i can see anything for programme access
restriction, no worries if there isn't a way.
