Well, it kind of depends which one, and knowing which version of PPT also
helps. But in general, go to View | Master | Slide Master, and you can
change stuff there. You can also right-click on the slide and choose Format
Background to change the background color. I recommend you do this on the
master slide (View | Master | Slide Master) along with any other changes you
might want to make.
